    BTC Coach Clint Wells is our Tuesday and Friday morning group coach and offers weekly and monthly training programs to suit your lifestyle and racing schedule needs.

    Clint is a graduate and 4 x All-American for the University of Colorado and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club.

    Some of his coaches have included CU’s Mark Wetmore, Mexican great Arturo Barrios, Brad Hudson and recently Lee Troop.

    Clint’s running achievements are certainly world class. He represented the USA 3 times at the World Cross Country Championships, qualified for the Olympic Trials in 1996, 2000 and 2004 (was 5th in 2000 3km steeplechase) and also won the Denver Marathon in 2006 and the Bolder Boulder in 2008.

    Clint has been an integral part of the BTC since it’s inception leading the way in training attendance, racing performance, hard work ethic and his respect and graciousness towards his fellow team members. The outstanding leadership qualities that Clint showed saw him appointed as the BTC’s first male captain in 2012.

    Clint is still a competitive distance runner for the BTC and aim’s to further build on the BTC training group environment and BTC’s competitiveness in racing.
